How to get the lost Android Phone’s IMEI number

     Mobile phones are the very important things in our life. These consist of all your valid data (contacts, photos and video & information). If you lose it, you will be losing all valid data.

     If you lose your Android smartphone, you can block the device to avoid any misuse and you can trace the current location of the device with the help of the IMEI number.
IMEI stands for- International Mobile Station Equipment Identity number which is different (unique) for every single device.

You can get the IMEI number from the given below steps


  1. Open dialer and call *#06#, then you will get a number on screen which is the IMEI number.

                        (OR)  

  2. Open device Settings –> About Phone –> Status -> IMEI number.

If you lost your phone and did not store (save) the IMEI number, but you will need the IMEI number of the device to block the phone.

  By the help of Google Dashboard we can get the IMEI number of our lost/stolen Android phone.

  1. Go to Google Dashboard  and sign in with the same user name and password which is used with         your stolen or lost (Android)  phone.

  2. Click on the Android section.

  3. Now you can get all the Android device information which is linked to this Google account.

  4. Find stolen device (ex: device model) then you will get details about that device including the IMEI number.
